10. The feeling of nostalgia we all get when the leaves start to change colors.
That homey feeling that comes around every time the seasons change. Driving to football games, watching the leaves change color when the temperature drops, pulling out our warm clothes that have been packed away all summer, getting to plan Halloween costumes with our friends all provide us with the nostalgic feeling that comes along with the change in season.
9. Bonfires.
S'mores, friends, s'mores, the sound of the crackling fire, s'mores. Whats not to love?
8. Apple orchards and pumpkin patches have a special place in everyone's heart.
Does this even need an explanation?
Did I mention all the photo ops?
8. Midterms, am I right?
L. O. L.
7. SWEATER. WEATHER.
90%of my time in the fall is spent wearing sweaters, the other 10% is spent wishing I could be wearing a sweater.
6. The sound of crunching leaves.
There is always a certain feeling of enlightenment we get when jumping into a giant pile of leaves.
PSA: that feeling doesn't stop, no matter how old you get.
5. Hot coffee drinks.
Iced drinks are fantastic, don't get me wrong, but there's something about being able to drink warm coffee without breaking a sweat that gives us extra justification to love Fall.
4.Candles > everything.
The warm, homeyness of fall scented candles that get released yearly are for sure something to look forward to every Fall.
3. We all love layers.
Layers are love, layers are life.
Flannels, vests, sweaters, hoodies; any and all combinations of the above.
2. Aesthetics are everything.
Color.
Color.
Color.
1. It's the Holiday season.
Halloween is just the beginning. It leads into Thanksgiving, which is one of the best holidays in my opinion. It starts and end with food, and has family and football in between. All arguments are thus invalid. After that, Christmas is right around the corner. What could be better.
