One of my all time favorite shows is "Grey's Anatomy." The medicine is intriguing, the friendships are everlasting, the romance makes your heart melt and the drama makes you sit on the edge of your seat. I am currently watch the show from the start for the third time now. If that doesn't show love for the show, I don't know what does. One of my favorite parts of the show was the relationship between Derek and Meredith. Even though their relationship was just part of the show, it is a kind of love and relationship I hope to find one day.

Here are 10 of my favorite Deredith moments:

1. "Pick me, choose me, love me."

Meredith fights for Derek even though he is married. She confesses her love, and she takes a huge risk. This goes to show that no matter the situation, she wanted to be with him.

2. The Post-It marriage

They were planning on going to city hall so they could get married, but they ended up being busy so they used a post-it. There were some rules/vows they wrote on it, it's the moment we've all been waiting for.

3. The drowning

Meredith was pushed into the water by accident while she was trying to help people after the ferry crash. This little girl led Derek to the water to save her, and he, in fact, did. She was in really bad shape; she was blue. While the chief and Dr. Bailey were working on her, he was outside of the room crying. He was so worried that he lost her. When she became conscious again, he was so thankful it was precious.

4. The candle house

Derek tells Meredith he wants to build a house with her, and she pushes him away. She isn't ready. But one day, she finally admits that she wants to be with him, so she builds a house out of candles. She goes through every room and says what each room is — including one for a kid one day.

5. The first night at the bar

The night where it all started. McDreamy was being typical McDreamy, and was hitting on Meredith at the bar. They went home together and then woke up with each other the next morning. Meredith wanted nothing to do with him, it was just a one night thing. Then that day, surprise, they work together, and he is her boss.

6. Prom night

The chief's niece was in the hospital and missed her prom night. He made the interns plan her a prom in the hospital. That night, Derek went with Addison, and Meredith went with the vet, Finn. They were both dancing with their dates and were looking at each other. Then they went in a room, and it's pretty obvious what happened then. This moment is great because they can't stay away from each other.

7. The shooting

This is such a heart-breaking moment. Derek had a patient and she died, so her husband was mad and wanted revenge. He shot Derek, and Meredith tells him to shoot her instead.

8. The proposal

Derek proposes to Meredith in an elevator and has the scans of patients they've had together. If someone would propose to me like this, I would be more than happy.

9. The adoption of Zola

Zola was brought in from Africa because she needed surgery. Derek immediately fell in love with her, so they adopted her. This is their first kid, and she is adorable.

10. Derek's death

This is the episode in the show that everyone dreaded. So many people were killed off the show, but why Derek? He was just trying to help other people. The police came to Meredith's house and told her the news, so her and the kids went to the hospital. Her goodbye to him was heartbreaking.

These 10 moments are dramatic, romantic and heart-breaking. I loved watching "Grey's Anatomy" because of Derek and Meredith. I hope one day I can have a love like this.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

It's not all morning coffees and singing along to the radio.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.
