The 10 Best Majors For Ravenclaws

After doing these lists for Slytherin and Gryffindor, one would think that I'd be running out of majors. But nope! This one practically wrote itself.

Computer Science

Ravenclaws generally like puzzles. Hell, the way to get into their dorm is a riddle. Computer Science is basically only puzzles. And if you get one wrong, nothing works.

Scientific Illustration

For when a Ravenclaw is both curious about what things look like and also good at drawing.

Architect

This major is both creative and chocked full of math. A nice blend of letting inhibitions run free and also strict constraints.

Chef

Ravenclaws like to experiment and try new things. When this can be done in a very hands on manner, even better.

Library Studies

Not only can a Ravenclaw spend all day in a Library, but they can get paid for it. Library Studies is a very broad field which requires a lot of general knowledge. Perfect for the book friendly Ravenclaw.

Rocket Science

For the Ravenclaw with a sense of humor, whenever someone is like "it's not like its rocket science" you could say "yes it is".

Math

Math is highly analytical, so for a Ravenclaw whose mind is also analytical it's like a dream come true.

Law

Law has enough pure knowledge mixed with good will to keep a Ravenclaw interested and occupied.

Physics

Ravenclaws love a challenge and that's exactly what Physics is. Math and Science mixed together to form the ultimate Ravenclaw pleaser.

Education

Ravenclaws enjoy learning of all kinds, so a Ravenclaw teacher is likely to be the encouraging kind. But also the kind that you can get off topic really easily.

Ravenclaws are very studious people, but also very curious. The curiosity can sometimes have disastrous side effects, so be wary. But that should be an issue for the cautious Ravenclaw.

It is a time where one day you can feel like you are on top of the world and then the next day you are 500 feet below the ground surface.

When I was learning how to talk, I was taught both Portuguese and English at the same time. In elementary school, I started taking mandatory Spanish classes, which I did well in because of my knowledge of Portuguese. Then in high school, on top of taking Spanish, I also started taking French. Now, in college, already fluent in English and Portuguese, I'm in the process of becoming fluent in Spanish, and I have a standard high school level understanding of French.
