1.Gumby's Pizza

If you can't decide between McDonald's fries and Pepperoni pizza, look no further. Gumby's has a pizza called "The Stoner Pie" (pictured below) whose toppings include pepperoni, bacon, mozzarella sticks, french fries, cheddar cheese, and mozzarella cheese. Another 2 favorites of their specialty pizza menu are their Blockhead BBQ pizza (toppings include BBQ sauce, chicken, red onion, green pepper, and cheese) and their Buffalo Chicken Pizza (toppings include Buffalo sauce, chicken, red onion, banana peppers, and cheese). Even their plain cheese pizza takes the cake for best cheese pizza at 2 a.m. Don't even get me started on their Pokey Sticks...just don't check the nutrition information. You can't go wrong with anything you order from Gumby's and the best part about it is their signature creamy, tangy ranch. I think we'll start a petition to make extra Gumby's ranch free with your order.

2. El Rancho

The infamous El Rancho...this one is right up there in the ranks with Gumby's for popularity. Located right in the middle of downtown Columbia, this restuarant is a popular one for those who hit up the bars for their night out. If you're looking for greasy Mexican food, this is the place for you. But let me warn you, do not eat it sober. Mizzou sophomore and El Rancho expert, Lauren Gehling, says you must order their chicken nachos (a favorite of many), but they're not complete until you add rice to them. Steak nachos are also a favorite of Mizzou students. I've come to believe that some people only go out so they have an excuse to end their night with El Rancho.

3. Late Night @ Rollins

You can get cheese bread, pizza, wings, pasta, cheesecake, and cookies all at the same time without spending ANY of your money! Well, kind of...this late night favorite is a Mizzou dining hall so you can use your swipes! You'll often see freshman spending a ton of swipes to buy food for upperclassmen who don't have swipes. Who doesn't like free food, especially when we're all broke college students? Plus, you know those freshmen aren't gonna use up all their swipes so you're technically doing them a favor, right?

4. Taco Bell

What a classic...I think everyone could go for some Taco Bell after a long night out or even just a long night of studying. Everything is good on the menu, especially the stuff they like to keep for like 2 weeks until you're hooked and then take it away for a year (aka Sriracha quesarito ~R.I.P.~ and the Grilled Stuft Nacho).

5. McDonald's

Another classic...you thought you were done loving McDonald's at the age of 5 but man, sometimes nothing sounds better than some chicken nugs and a fry at 2 a.m. Safe to say at this point in our lives though, we won't be asking for a toy with our meal.

6. Hot Box Cookies

If you're a person with a sweet tooth, your first Hot Box order will be the start of a delicious yet expensive addiction. When you order delivery you have to spend a $14 minimum with a $2 delivery charge. It's always best to try to split your order with a friend so you don't have too many cookies and don't have to spend a fortune! They always taste the best fresh and gooey right out of the oven. There's so many flavors to choose from such as chocolate chip, M&M, cookies 'n' creme, oatmeal raisin, oatmeal chocolate chip, peanut butter, peanut butter chocolate chip, peanut butter Reese's Pieces, snickerdoodle, chocolate white chocolate chip, red velvet, and monster. With all those to choose from, along with icing sandwiches, ice cream sandwiches, cookie sundaes, brownies, brownie sundaes, cookie dough, and cookie cakes, you're sure to get your sweets exactly the way you want them. And for those of you who live in STL, when you're not at school, you're in luck because they now have a location in the Central West End!

7. Pickleman's

Pickleman's is a great choice if you're looking for a hot sandwich. Their menu has many different options that you can personalize so you get everything you want and more. Sophomore Delaney Parman swears on their BBQ Chicken pizza and claims, "No doubt, it's amazing." It's also a relatively cheap option and they have a choose 2 option! You can get half of a sandwich with a cup of soup and bread or a side salad. It's perfect for those late nights when you just want some good, real food. (Those nights come often when you're living off of dining hall pasta and grilled chicken.)

8. Jimmy John's

Everyone loves a good Jimmy John's sandwich. It's an easy thing to order when you've got an 8 a.m. exam the next morning and you need a lil something to tie you over until you're done studying. It's pretty cheap and everyone already knows what they want! They even know your name and where you live on campus when you call, it's great. If you've never tried it, you should try an "Unwich." It's a Jimmy John's sandwich in a lettuce wrap instead of bread which is a healthy alternative that tastes fresh and delicious for those worried about the Freshman 15.

9. Pizzatree

Pizzatree is a small but cool and unique little pizza place right outside of 10 Below and Harpo's. They serve pizza by the slice or by full pizza. What is really awesome about them is that they have magnets above the ovens that tell all the customers coming in what slices they haven't run out of. Parman is also a fan of this late night restuarant. "The slices are pretty big and super yummy, it's definitely a good pizza place to go to whether you're drinking or not," Parman says, "They have really different slices on their menu too which also makes them unique, but Margherita is my favorite."

10. Seoul Taco

Seoul Taco has done some profitshares for local organizations and groups at Mizzou which shows that they love us college kids! "My favorite part is how cheap it is and how friendly the staff is," recent Mizzou graduate Alex Belton says, "They also sell donuts so you can satisfy your salt and sweet tooth in one place." Belton's go to order is 1 beef and 1 chicken taco. This is one place you've gotta check out!

11. Broadway Diner

It's the cutest little diner you've ever seen and many people go there not only late at night, but those awful mornings after a night out. Sophomore Sam Kraham and her boyfriend always go there for late night date nights. She orders the typical breakfast meal with bacon, eggs, and hashbrowns. "We always meet cool people there, it's so fun!" Kraham says.

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
