The latest trend in food right now are food trucks, with over 3 million nation wide it is no question that this popular trend is also a booming business. Food trucks have grown more popular over the years since more food trucks are producing gourmet food that is not only fast, but affordable as well. Reno has caught on to this latest craze by hosting a seasonal gathering known as Food Truck Fridays. This gathering is held every Friday at Idle Park from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and consists of food trucks from the local, Reno and Sparks area. I decided to check this out for myself, and like the food obsessed person I am, tried every food truck that was there. So here's my ranking of the 10 best food trucks (in descending order) in Reno.

10. St. Lawrence Pizza Company

Who knew that wood fired pizza can be made in a food truck? Well St. Lawrence Pizza made that possible. With pizza slices bigger than your face and packed with melting cheese and fresh tomato sauce, St. Lawrence Pizza has it all to satisfy your pizza cravings.

9. Battle Born Food Truck

Battle Born Food Truck has hands down the best tri-tip roast beef sandwich. They use old family recipes to get that perfect flavor in your sandwich. Battle Born Food Truck's menu averages at around $10, which is well worth it considering the amount of food you get as well as the great quality you'll receive.

8. BoDawgs

If they're not at Idle Park on Friday's you can usually find them on the University of Nevada campus. This food truck is loved by all Nevada students since BoDawgs has fast service, great prices, and most importantly amazing hot dogs. With prefectly grilled hot dogs and unique toppings you can't go wrong! Where else can you get pineapples, cream cheese, and pickled pink onions as a topping?

7. Nom Eats

Before I thought of vegan food as unappetizing and bland. But after trying Nom Eats, I never looked at vegan food the same. Nom Eats makes vegan eating delicious, and flavorful. I recommend the breakfast burrito, it is a slight twist from the classic burrito but is still filled with flavor.

6. Schnitzel's Austrian Grill

I've never tried Austrian food until I discovered this food truck, but let me tell you it is mouthwatering. Schnitzel's Austrian Grill serves perfectly crispy meat schnitzels and delectable schnitzel chiabatta sandwiches. For first timers, I recommend the pork schnitzel with lingonberry and sauerkraut on the side.

5. Brother's Barbecue

If you're a meat lover, like myself, then you will surely enjoy Brother's Barbecue. They have a large selection of barbecue and specialize in Texas style, dry-rub barbecue that stems from two generations of family recipes. Their ribs are my favorite since they are just the right amount of spicy and sweet. Plus, the meat is so juicy and tender that the meat comes right off the bones.

4. Kenji's

Kenji's offers an Asian and Hawaiian fusion menu that is filled with flavor. They even offer tacos which are packed with unique garnishes and are perfect if you're looking for something light on your stomach and wallet. The tacos start at $1.50 with their specialty plates starting at $8.

3. IceCycle Creamery

IceCycle Creamery is the perfect way to cool off in the summer heat and satisfy your sweet tooth craving. They serve unique ice cream flavors that rotate weekly such as ricotta fig, maple peach, and earl grey. My favorite part about this food truck is that their ice cream is not too sweet and since it is handmade, it is very light and has a smooth, airy texture.

2. Still Rollin'

Still Rollin' makes a gourmet twist on the typical egg roll. Crispy on the outside and filled with flavored in the inside, you can't go wrong with Still' Rollin. I highly recommend the Full Monte Cristo egg roll, it is perfectly sweet yet savory.

1. Electric Blue Elephant

Who knew healthy food could actually taste good? I used to cringe at the thought of vegetables and healthy eating but, Electric Blue Elephant changed my thoughts on it. This food truck reinvents the healthy eating and actually makes healthy eating delicious and fun. My favorite item on their menu are the spicy teriyaki nachos.

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

11 Times Aubrey Plaza Described Sophomore Year

"I don't want to do things. I want to do not things."

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.

Dear Mom,

You took care of me and my brothers our entire lives and you still continue to! I will not be able to truly grasp all of the hard work that you put into this family until I create my own one day. But, I know that there are plenty of times I forgot to give you a simple thank you or an appreciative smile. I thank you for everything that you have done for me and will continue to do for me. Here are some examples of those times where you had my back and I forgot to pat your back for saving me:

College is hard. As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep. We’re doomed to get sick. I have zero experience in science but when I get sick there are certain things I do to make myself better.
