10 Best Christmas Movies

With Christmas just around the corner, the movies on TV are teeming with Santa, snow and candy canes. There are so many quality Christmas movies, that they need to be put into a list so everyone can get into some holly jolly holiday spirit while sipping hot chocolate and munching on sugar cookies.

1. "Miracle on 34th Street"

The old version or the new version, this movie is a feel-good classic that'll leave you with a smile on your face.

2. "Elf"

The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear with Buddy the Elf.

3. "Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas"

Once you get past the Grinch's somewhat alarming appearance and sarcasm, this movie is actually quite entertaining and funny.

4. "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation"

There's no better way to appreciate your own family than spending a few hours with the crazy Griswolds!

5. "Snowglobe"

This is a lesser known Christmas movie, but it's an ABC Family original that's sure to warm your heart.

6. "Love Actually"

If you're looking for a heartwarming love story wrapped into a Christmas movie as well, then look no further.

7. "Frozen"

Ok, I'll be the first to admit that I was very skeptical when I saw this being played on 25 Days of Christmas. But I had a change of heart just like Elsa, and all the snow actually does get me excited for Christmas.

8. "Fred Claus"

A little twist on the classic Christmas movie, Fred Claus is equally hilarious as it is creative.

9. "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer"

Rudolph and Hermey actually make you want to get off the couch and visit the Island of Misfit Toys

10. "The Polar Express"

"Seeing is believing, but sometimes the most real things in the world are the things we can't see."

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.
