You might not beat the heat, but these beauty products will.

1. Tizo3 Tinted Facial Mineral Sunscreen

This stuff is unlike any sunscreen I have tried previously- it has a distinct consistency and tint. It is great for sensitive skin and I also find that it has pore-smoothing effects! Great on its own and also perfect to apply before you do your makeup (it makes your makeup last incredibly).

2. Quay Australia Sunglasses

I admit I am a sunglass slut- it is embarrassing how many pairs I have but they are important (or at least that's my excuse). When you're outside or driving, throw some sunnies on- they can complete an outfit, protect your eyes, and prevent you from squinting (squinting causes wrinkles). My current faves are the Quay Australia High Key Black Fades. I can guarantee this brand has a pair for your taste!

3. Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade

If you’re like me and can’t leave the house without nice brows, this is the product for you- you hardly need to use any product, and once it sets it is waterproof! Perfect for pool days or outdoor events. Tip: if your pomade dries up, mix in some eye drops to bring it back to life!

4. L’Oreal Paris Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Gelee

Don't want to lose that tan you’ve got goin'? Give this a go-it’s non-greasy, minimally scented, and has awesome lasting power (& it’s under $10).

5. L’Oreal Paris Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation

Want a flawless complexion but don’t want it to fade away when you sweat? Go grab this! Looks incredible on the skin and is perfect for oil control- if you’re on the dry side or like the dewy look, try the Pro-Glow version.

6. Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Quickie Contour Stick

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again- you need this. Perfect color, blends like a dream, and dries to a powder finish for lasting power. Top it with your fav powder bronzer if you want a bronze-y glow that does not move.

7. Dior Addict Lip Glow Color Reviver Balm

Don’t neglect your lippies! This balm has SPF, and will prevent your lips from getting dry from the sun! It also gives ‘em life with color reviver technology that enhances your natural lip color!

8. Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo Metal 24 Hr Cream Gel Shadow

The product is simpler than the name- that’s for sure. With a cream-to-powder finish, your look will not budge- and it gives the perfect glow to your eyes. My favorite shade is Bad To The Bronze. Tip: Try taking one of the bolder colors and sweep it lightly on your lower lash-line for a fun pop of color!

9. Urban Decay All-Nighter Makeup Setting Spray

I have yet to find a setting spray better than this- if you want to minimize pores, prevent cakey-ness, and make your makeup last all day, get this NOW. If you are oily, try the De-Slick version!

10. MAKE UP FOR EVER Pro Light Fusion Highlighter

It isn’t summer unless you’ve got a glow, am I right? This highlighter packs a punch- pop some on your cheekbones and you will be beaming. Tip: apply this directly after you set your face with setting spray, the wetness will make it more intense!

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

11 Times Aubrey Plaza Described Sophomore Year

"I don't want to do things. I want to do not things."

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.
