Winter is coming, which means it's finally time to bust out those dark lips and jewel tones! Winter is one of my favorite seasons, specifically because I love my winter beauty routine. Here are some of my favorite beauty products that will certainly brighten up your seasonal routine!

1. The True Cream Aqua Bomb by Belif

The changing climate is usually accompanied by dry skin, and this moisturizer will truly be a life-changer! It boasts about it's 18% increase in overall skin hydration, and this miracle cream does not disappoint!

2. Milky Jelly Cleanser by Glossier

This creamy gel cleanser is the answer to all of your skin woes! It is a simple, hypoallergenic cleanser that works wonders on sensitive skin. It restores moisture and smooths texture, making it a perfect pick for winter.

3. Coconut Oil

This household item is essential! It is multi-purpose, and it's countless benefits make it a staple in my everyday routine. Coconut oil can be used as a moisturizer, a hair mask, a cuticle softener, or you could even run it through your lashes to promote lash growth overnight. Pick it up at your local grocery store, and you won't be disappointed.

4. Hangover Replenishing Face Primer by Too Faced

This moisturizing primer helps create a smooth and refreshed base before applying makeup. The soothing properties help assure that your makeup adheres and gives your skin a glowy-finish. Although it is a bit pricy for a primer, it is key in achieving that killer glow.

5. Treatment Mask by Ouai

This highly moisturizing mask quenches dry hair and combats split ends. The brand is founded by celebrity hair stylist, Jen Atkin, and is endorsed by the Kardashians. It completely softens hair and makes for the perfect pre-treatment for that coveted winter blow-out.

6. L'Oréal Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation

This drugstore foundation find is a true gem! It gives you the glowy/radiant finish you've long been searching for, and I find myself reaching for it during these drier months. Although I like to set it with a finishing powder (Laura Mercier Translucent Powder), the trade-mark glow still shines through & doesn't make my already oily skin look like a grease ball.

7. Modern Renaissance Eye Shadow Palette by Anastasia

This palette has all of the warm/berry tones your heart could desire! The pigmented shadows pack a punch, and completely deliver on blendability. Although it is a little costly, the palette contains 14 shades & it can be used to create so many diverse looks.

8. Everlasting Liquid Lip in "Lolita" by Kat Von D

This iconic liquid lip is famous for a reason! The color practically screams winter, and the no-fuss formula ensures that your lipstick will stay on for hours.

9. Multistick by Bite Beauty

This multi-purpose lipstick/cheek stick is definitely a bang for your buck! It can be used as a lipstick or a cheek stain, and the creamy formula makes it extremely blendable. Whether you get a dark color or a lighter hue, the multistick makes multi tasking extremely simple.

10. Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Gloss by Soap And Glory

And yet another drug store product takes the cake! This lip-plumping gloss is EVERYTHING to me! The pigment and the consistency of the gloss is spot on, and the fact that the price point is so low is only another positive. This gloss is perfect to top a lipstick/lip liner, or even perfect when worn alone.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
