First Stop: Surround yourself with those who make you happy. Because life is just too fucking short. As Bob Dylan would say:
"Be groovy or leave, man."
Second Stop: Love is cruel, and everyone at sometime in their life plays the fool.
“You can never be wise and be in love at the
same time.”
Third Stop: The media lies.
"A Hard Rain's A Gonna Fall means something's gonna happen. In the last verse, when I say, 'the pellets of poison are flooding the waters,' that means all the lies that people get told on their radios and in their newspapers."
Fourth Stop: Humility is a truly great quality to have. The strongest
people I know have shown it in the quiet corners of the day when no one was
watching.
"I think it's wrong
for a person to talk about themselves. A person's life speaks for itself. If
you've done good things people will spread the news, and if you've done bad
things people will spread the news too."
Fifth Stop: You can write a poem and be a poet or...
"You don't necessarily have to write to be a poet. Some people work in gas stations and they're poets. I don't call myself a poet because I don't like the word."
Sixth Stop: Money isn't everything.
"You can have the best there is. But it's gonna cost you all your love. You won't get it for money."
Seventh Stop: Keep that inner child inside of you, forever.
"I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now."
Eight Stop: The friends that are for life are the ones that are always by your side in the worst moments of your life and the friends who leave:
"got a lotta nerve to say you are my friend. When I was down you just stood there grinnin'."
Ninth Stop: Pain really is beauty.
“Behind every beautiful thing, there's some kind of pain.”
Tenth Stop: Life is like a train. On the journey, you lose yourself and yet find something new about yourself. We all get lost sometimes.
"Don't say I never warned you when your train gets lost. "
