Being a college student is all kinds of crazy. There are classes, homework assignments, organizations, work, bills, and a social life to keep up with. Life can feel way too hectic and sometimes the idea of becoming an animal for a while doesn't sound so bad. Here are ten animals that just seem to get us.

1. Horses

As a college student, there are days when it feels like you are constantly being trained and harnessed to perform for other people. Sometimes you just want to break free from your constraints and gallop away to do your own thing for a while, instead of the super-detailed project your business professor wants you to do.

2. Raccoons

Because what doesn't sound better than taking food from other people? Most college students are mooches (due to the whole no-money thing) and free stuff sounds really nice. We might just steal your food when you aren't looking.

3. Sloths

Like the legendary sloth, many college students wish they could just lounge around all day, going zero miles per hour, with no one relying on us or expecting us to show up to class. What a life that would be.

4. Quokkas

Known as the happiest animals on earth, quokkas are constantly smiling. College students learned the art of a fake smile long ago and use it to their advantage. That way, no one will ask them what's wrong when they're simply done with school (which happens a lot) or don't feel like sharing their problems with the world.

5. Chameleons

For some, the idea of blending into the crowd and keeping to themselves can be appealing. Whether you're too tired to talk, trying to focus on school, or just not in the mood for conversation, being as invisible as a chameleon would be nice sometimes.

6. Chimpanzees

A lot of college students use college as an excuse to "sow their wild oats." Partying, drinking, and doing things that you know you won't be able to do with a family and responsibilities can be tempting. Just be careful that you don't end up behind bars like the chimps at the zoo.

7. Bats

Two words: no sleep. Much like the nocturnal life of bats, college students tend to substitute sleep for either academics, work, or socializing. We rely on the assistance of coffee to power us through our days.

8. Puppies

Sometimes we just feel like we've been thrown into adulthood with no training. We constantly need attention and we can make a lot of mistakes before we get things right. But, if you keep us fed and happy, we'll be little bundles of joy (or at least try to).

9. Squirrels

I have a paper due at midnight? Wait, isn't the season finale of "The Walking Dead" tonight? Didn't I promise my friend I would study with her? Should I order some pizza? The life of a college student involves constantly having to decide between a ton of different options. It's easy to get overwhelmed and distracted.

10. Bunnies

It can feel like you never stop moving in college. There's always something to do, somewhere to be, things piling up that you need to finish. Bunnies are always darting about and we envy their seemingly endless energy.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.
