I know it can be frustrating to come up with a date idea when you just want to spend time together, but have no idea what to do. All you can think about is your lover and you don’t care what you do so long as you are with your significant other. However, it can get boring if you do the same dinner and a movie date over and over again. Here are 10 amazing and really fun date ideas for lovebirds in New York City.

1. Watch the sunset together at Brooklyn Bridge Park.

Nothing is as romantic as watching the sunset together. The sunset over the Manhattan skyline is probably one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen in my entire life. The Manhattan skyline is not the only catch; there is always the Brooklyn Bridge and DUMBO nearby, so it’s a great spot to hang out.

2. Explore East Village.

If you are looking for good restaurants and bars, then this is for you. You can explore East Village and grab a drink or two at St. Marks. There are a couple of clubs nearby so you can dance your night away.

3. Walk around Soho and go on a photo shoot date.

There is nothing more artsy than walking around in Soho and taking photos of each other. There are so many cute cafes nearby so it’s a bonus.

4. Pay a visit to Museum of Ice Cream.

The Museum of Ice Cream just opened; it’s so cute.

5. Movie date at AMC Empire 25.

Who doesn’t like a movie date in Times Square?

6. Go on an amusement park date at Coney Island.

If you are into roller coasters and arcades, then this is your date.

7. Summer beach date.

Beach is the obvious match for the summer. Just lay in the sun or go for a long walk on the beach. Enjoy the sunset together as you lay in each other’s arms.

8. A walk in Central Park and go on a boating date.

Central Park is probably one of the most beautiful parks in NYC. Try boating at the boathouse. It’s really fun.

9. If you want to see New York’s skyline, then go to Empire State Building or Top of the Rock.

New York City’s skyline is one of the most beautiful skylines ever. Enjoy the view with the love of your life.

10. Go on a Make Your Own Ice Cream date at Magnum in Soho.
