Like so many other high school seniors, my entire year got cut in a way I couldn't have ever imagined. My opportunity to compete for the last time at the State Speech and Debate Tournament was gone, and I was in a dark place because of it. Graduation was not likely to happen, and that hurt the most. As a daughter of immigrants and being valedictorian, this was going to be the one moment I had to make my parents proud.

Thankfully, my school had recently built a dome, and the school board had decided for us to have an extremely limited graduation. In a way, I got a slightly normal graduation. All 57 of my classmates were present with their parents, and our teachers were there. And although I was very glad to be getting a ceremony, it was strangely underwhelming. That night I was home, and said "So that's it?" It was. The past 14 years had been crazy, and yet, I wanted to relieve it in some way.

That's when my mind went straight to my Roku device and the Disney+ app. I started re-watching every show and movie I adored when I was younger, and here are some of my favorites.

I had forgotten how much I loved this show. It's just a group of rich kids, a nanny, a butler, and a very large lizard in the Big Apple.

The Suite Life of Zack and Cody

Do kids actually live in a hotel? Who knows. I do know, though, that I would watch this at my grandma's house all of the time.

Wizards of Waverly Place

Hands down, a top three show on Disney. I can watch this forever.

Hannah Montana

The best show and movie to ever air on Disney. It really made me think back to my 'Hannah Montana' bed comforter and curtains.

High School Musical

It's a known fact you can't go wrong with this trilogy. Plus, 'High School Musical 3' hits different when you just graduated.

Even though my childhood is officially over and I'm on to bigger and better things, I can always relive the good ole days with some of my favorite shows.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
