10 "Adulting" Moments All College Students Understand

All college students have experienced moments where they feel like an adult. An increasingly popular slang on college campuses is the make-believe verb "adulting".

2. Getting to decide how to spend your own money

You get the liberty to spend your own money!

3. Realizing you have to budget your own money

You get the liberty to spend your own money...

4. Grocery Shopping

Buying on sale items solely because they're on sale

5. Fixing something that broke in your dorm/apartment

...and feeling like Sam the onion man from holes

6. Buying and putting up holiday decorations

It's festive and makes your place of living feel cozy, but makes you feel old.

7. Fully preparing your own meals

It's a learning curve for sure.

8. Receiving bills in your name

9. Flying alone

More specifically, walking through airports. You feel so sophisticated.

...but really you're flying coach on Southwest so you don't have to pay for baggage. I still consider it a win though.

10. Calling businesses to schedule all sorts of appointments

Keep on adulting, fellow college students.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Daydreaming

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general.
