10 Absolutely Wonderful Things about Teavana

They sell lose leaf teas but also sell Made-to-Order Beverages

Teavana is known as a tea-emporium but little people know about their tea-bar. That’s right. Teavana sells their “Made-to-Order Beverages” for their customers. So if you like the tea that you sampled, you can order that exact drink to go.

The company is now owned by Starbucks so you can now use a Starbucks gift card to purchase their teas.

Don’t drink coffee that much, but have a lot of Starbucks gift cards from past holidays or birthdays? Purchase any tea or Teaware from Teavana using Starbucks gift cards! You’ll save much more by purchasing their teas in store to make at home than purchasing a small latte at Starbucks.

Right now, they are selling "Wellness Teas".

Teavana is now in their “Vitamin C-Eason” and are introducing it’s new line of “Wellness Teas”. These teas are packed with “feel-good flavors” and serve different types of purposes to enhance your health that are meant for categories such as: defense, recovery, serenity, and rejuvenation. So, if you’re looking for something to take care of yourself, these teas are the way to go.

Most Teavanna lovers know about their free samples.

Right outside their door are the entrancing aromas of free samples that Teavana offers for their customers. Usually they are their new teas that have just gotten on their market or they could be new teas that are blended with one of their regular flavors. It’s always a surprise when you approach the sample station.

They have unbelievable flavors like "Smores", "Gingerbread", and "CocoCaramel Sea Salt" Teas.

One thing that is impeccable about Teavana is their ability to create new flavors. During their holiday season, they sell teas like “White Chocolate Peppermint” and “Pumpkin Spice Brûlée Oolong Tea”. But these do run out quickly. A couple delectable flavors you can try year round would be “Sweet Asian Pear White Tea” or the “Mango Black Flavored Black Tea”. My personal favorite is the "Pineapple Kona Pop" blended with their "Youthberry" tea. There’s all sorts of different options that you can chose from to mix and match which makes Teavana very customer-friendly.

They sell a product called: Perfectea Maker. But what on earth is a Perfectea Maker?

A Perfectea Maker is basically that. I bought one for my boyfriend’s Christmas gift and he uses it all the time. In fact, I actually have one for myself. It makes perfect lose-leaf tea right in front of your very eyes. It’s a pretty simple and easy process. Boil some water, put the amount of lose leaf tea your packet calls for, pour the water in, let it sit for a however many minutes it calls for, put the "Perfectea Maker" over your mug and voilà you’ve got perfectly brewed tea just like they do it in the store. It’s an incredible device and even more incredible to watch.

This company really cares about their customers.

If a company has lovely consistent customer service, then I will be loyal to them for an eternity. Teavana’s customer service is always their number one priority, because they love their customers. I’m a regular at the Teavana store I go to back home and every time I come in, they welcome me with open arms. I didn’t always know a lot about tea but now they've transformed me to becoming an expert tea maker because they educate me every time I visit.

Not only is their tea delectable, so is their Teaware.

They sell lose-leaf tea, a lot of different products to help make your tea, rock sugar, and different tea measuring cups. But most people don’t really know a lot about their other Teaware like the cast-iron teapots, infuser mugs, and their teapot sets. These items are on the rather expensive side, but are well worth the cost for quality tea.

If you put your "Perfectea Maker" in the fridge, it lasts longer.

After you’ve used the "Perfectea Maker" once, you can stick in the fridge and use it again for up to two or three cups of tea. It might not be as strong as it was before but it still taste just as delicious. That's a trick the employees told me!

If you’re a beginner with tea, then their Artisanal Brewing Collection Kit is the way to go.

Their classic "Artisanal Brewing Collection Kit" is state of the art in the tea-realm. On their website, they say that it includes, “Everything you need to brew the perfect cup of tea!” The kit includes a 16oz Perfectea Maker, 16oz of "Perfect Tea Rock Sugar", A "Perfectea" spoon, four exclusive airtight reusable tea tins, and four 2oz of their most popular teas. The teas include: "Youthberry"/"Wild Orange", "Maharaja Chai"/"Samurai Chai", "Peach Tranquility", and "Jade Citrus Mint". It’s not too expensive, but it’s definitely a value pack for all that tea. For more information about this store visit their website: www.teavana.com. All you die-hard tea fans out there are sure to love their products.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
