A New Regime Takes Power: Samsung Galaxy

The fall of a dynasty

Samsung Galaxy beat SK telecom T1 3-0 in what I saw as underwhelming series.

It was a quick series just as faker wanted. Prior to the series, he said, "I hope to finish the final series within 3 games so I can go eat quickly."

With SKT being the previous champions, everyone was eager to see them win again or lose. Yet the narrative was never to see SSG win, rather SKT lose. With this hyper-visibility of only one team, I think many people (including myself) just saw this from the SKT perspective. I wouldn't have ever guessed SKT would have lost 3-0, I assumed it would be a hard fought match between two giants. Rather it was one taking down a dynasty very easily.

As I watched the series, I was in shock why both SKT's champ select, their passive playstyle, and just Bang playing like a literal dumpster. And it didn't help that Ruler was playing out of his MIND. His last play, the flash varus ult, was just sketched into my brain permanently. 39 minutes into the game with SKT having a 2k gold lead, ruler flashes and ults Faker. Faker doesn't use his flash and he dies and the game is over. Just like that, SKT has fallen.

As the games are analyzed and the year of League is summed up, whats obvious is that Korea is still on top. Its obvious Faker is still a god, but it's also obvious SKT has to go through some changes. I think what really shocked me was not the lose, but rather the picks/bans.

Picking Leona and Yasuo just why.

Always banning Galio...just why.

I think it's just been hard to let the view of SKT being the best fall. But its true, they fell.

And they didn't deserve the win.

Faker didn't deserve the win.

Samsung did.

Rule did.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
