Lush is a cosmetic and beauty store that sells lots of amazing hygiene products. You can buy anything from toothpaste to bath bombs at these magical stores and everything is made with fresh and natural ingredients. People who don’t use Lush don’t understand, but those who have made the switch comprehend just how much of an obsession Lush can be. Their products are amazing. They work magic. Plus they smell really, really good. Here are some thoughts you may have if you’re as obsessed with Lush as I am.

1. It can’t be as amazing as everyone says it is.

Well, you’re wrong. It is as amazing as everyone says it is. So unless you’re financially prepared to become addicted and drop some cash in the process, avoid this store like the plague.

2. How the heck can this stuff be so expensive?

The first time that you go to lush and you actually buy something, you’re going to look at the container and be like, this tiny little thing costs how much?? Don’t be alarmed. The sticker shock can be pretty extreme, but the products really do last a while. You don’t need much because their product is so concentrated. So even though the containers aren’t that big, you definitely get your moneys worth out of it.

3. You wish you would stop getting free samples.

I’ve never left Lush without receiving at least one free sample. When I first started getting them I thought it was pretty cool. Not many companies give you free samples of their products. That being said, I kept getting hooked on the samples that I was receiving. The free samples were doing their job. And as much as I love them, my bank account doesn’t.

4. You can actually feel good about the product you’re buying.

Lush uses all natural products. It’s really cool and you can feel really good about using all of their products. If that wasn’t enough, they’re really big into recycling and they do absolutely no animal testing. Plus, if you bring in five of their specially marked containers for recycling you get a free fresh facemask.

5. You want everyone in your life to love Lush as much as you do.

Lush is more than an obsession. Lush is a way of life. You just want everyone else in your life to love it as much as you do. That way they won’t judge you for how excited you get over taking a shower. They'll understand.

Whether you’re just starting out in the Lush world, or you’ve been there for a long time, you know you’ve had one of these thoughts at least once. One things is for sure, once you’re hooked on Lush, there’s no going back.
