Taylor Swift seems to be popping up everywhere these days. Whether she’s donating $50,000 to her backup dancer's nephew, strutting around with her celebrity squad, or posting Instagram photos of her cats, Swift is flooding our newsfeed.

T-Swift is also known for her record-breaking albums and songs that speak to the hearts of her fans. She is notorious for writing songs about her romantic relationships and using these disasters as inspiration for her music. But what does the famous singer's music have to say about college? Let's take a look at how Taylor Swift's song lyrics from "1989" describe the typical college experience.

1. On orientation week:

"So hey, let's be friends" ("Blank Space")

"You're a freshman, I'm a freshman. Cool, let's be friends." This is your only conversation. For the rest of the semester, you try to remember why that random person looks really familiar.

2. On syllabus week:

“Darling I’m a nightmare dressed like a daydream” ("Blank Space")

The syllabus made you think that this class wouldn't be too much work. You have never been so wrong.

3. On the dining hall:

"You give me everything and nothing" ("I Wish You Would")

The dining hall has seemingly endless options for dinner, yet nothing seems appetizing. Unfortunately, eating pizza and Ramen every day would be a bad life decision.

4. On bad grades:

"Now we got problems and I don't think we can solve them" ("Bad Blood")

When you fail the midterm and didn't do any of the reading, there's really no hope.

5. On 8 a.m. classes:

"I thought heaven can't help me now. Nothing lasts forever, but this is gonna take me down" ("Wildest Dreams")

You vow never to take an 8 a.m. class ever again. Getting up early for class might have been doable in high school, but you just can't. You're counting down the weeks until it's over.

6. On dropping classes:

"Remember when we couldn't take the heat I walked out and said, 'I'm settin' you free'" ("Out of the Woods")

Dropping that class was a good idea until you needed to graduate in less than six years.

7. On picking a major:

"It was months, and months of back and forth" ("Clean")

Should you study psychology, or biology, or sociology, or sleepology? You literally can't decided so you declare "undecided."

8. On all-nighters:

"I stay out too late, got nothing in my brain" ("Shake It Off)

Maybe you finished your 10-page paper, but you have no recollection of writing it and you sleep through every class the next day.

9. On finals week:

"Take me home, just take me home, yeah. Just take me home" ("Style")

By the time you hit finals week, you want nothing more than to just be free for break.

10. On graduation:

"Someday when you leave me I bet these memories follow you around" ("Wildest Dreams")

Although some days feel like they'll never end, you can't believe how fast it flew by. You know that you've made memories that will last a lifetime.

From drinking too much coffee to setting an alarm for a 13-minute nap, college is a unique time of life. And you know that no matter what comes your way, you can just "shake it off."

"Like any true love, it drives you crazy. But you know you wouldn't change anything." - "Welcome to New York" Taylor Swift

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
