You've all heard the horror stories of people who fight with, ignore or cannot stand their roommate. But what about telling stories about those success stories when you literally become inseparable? Here are a few signs that your roommate might just be your soulmate.

1. You have endless sleepovers.

Every night is slumber party with your best friend.

2. What's mine is yours.

You share everything from clothes, to food, to Advil.

3. You are never alone.

You do not have to worry about finding someone to eat with or walk to class with.

4. You have the "fun" room.

You always have friends coming in and out of your room and are always the room that everyone meets up in.

5. You never have to worry about drinking alone.

Wine for me, and wine for you.

6. You miss each other during the day.


If it's wrong to miss my roomie/BFF while I'm at class then I don't want to be right.

7. You can't wait to come home.


You always have coming home at the end of the day to look forward to.

8. You're a package deal.

Being invited somewhere means the both of you are invited — even if it's unsaid.

9. Breaks are really hard for you two to deal with.

Winter break is so long, how did they expect us to live without each other for a month?!

10. You get to know each other better than you have known anyone else.

Legit you know pretty much everything there is to know about one another.

11. You realize that space is good.

You need a little time to yourself every day but you still remain super close.

12. You practically become family.

Through the good and the bad you stick together — just like fam.

13. People get your names mixed up.


And sometimes you don't correct them because it happens so often that now you respond to either name.

14. You actually could not imagine life without them.


Imagine living without each other... OK now stop, that was too sad.

15. Random dance parties occur often.

It just... happens...

16. You are always honest with each other.

You need to be honest with each other otherwise living together so well would just not work.

17. You've memorized their schedule.


Monday at 2 p.m.: "Where's your roommate?" You: "Oh she has chem lab until 3. Then she likes to get coffee after so we will probably see each other around 3:45 in the room, then she has yoga at 6. We will probably get dinner after."

18. You know everything about them from their boy situation to what they truly want for Christmas.

19. You have never been happier.

Living with your best friend is pretty much the best thing ever.

20. Your parents send joint care packages.

They know you are going to share anyways so they always add extra for your roomie.

21. You always have a cuddle buddy.


Whenever you need a hug or cuddles they are always there to provide.


When your roommate and your best friend are the same person... you know you've got it good!

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
