15 Times Cat GIFs Perfectly Described Your College Experience

1. When you make your first friend.

And you're super clingy because, let's face it, you don't have any other friends yet.

2. When you lease an apartment with ten of your closest friends.

Say goodbye to your personal space for the next four years.

3. When your classmates ask how you're doing on that assignment due tomorrow.

..."What assignment???"

4. When you make the great decision to go to class after an all-nighter.

I swear, I'm awake. I was just resting my eyes for a second.

5. When you're handed your first exam and realize you know absolutely nothing... about anything.

SOS SOS HELP. I did study, I promise!

6. When you ace that exam you were 100 percent sure you failed.

Don't ask questions. Just accept it.

7. When your friends want to go out, but you just want to stay in and watch Netflix.

Leave me alone. Let me be antisocial. I have 3 seasons of "Gilmore Girls" to catch up on.

8. When your printer chooses the most inconvenient time to malfunction.

MY PAPER IS DUE IN ten NINE MINUTES!

9. When you finally give in to the Taylor Swift trend.

Her music is just so catchy. And, you have to admit, she's got ~style~.

10. When you see a cute boy at a party... and subsequently run away.

Talking to boys is really difficult sometimes.

11. When you get picked to be the DD.

... and come to the conclusion that drunk people are so much less fun to be around when you're sober. #NotAmewsed.

12. When you get out of class and it's pouring rain.

What, like I check the weather before I leave the house?

13. When you finally give in to taking the bus to class.

It's just so much more convenient, you know? #freshman15

14. When you start going to the dining hall just for ice cream.

"I swear I fit last time!"

15. When you decide to go to the gym with your best friend (and realize that she is way more in-shape than you).

I blame Netflix. And my sleeping patterns. And dining hall ice cream.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
