Being a millennial Republican is hard. Sometimes, it feels like you're the only one out there, but don't worry- there's more of us than you think! I know this election season has been hard (If you haven't wanted to scream at your friends for talking about how great Bernie Sanders is 24/7, then you're already doing better than me!), but it will all be worth it when there's a Republican sitting the White House. If you're a millennial Republican, chances are you've experienced most of these and are wanting to scratch your eyes out right about now, so here's some comic relief. If you have any funny stories about being a millennial Republican or something you think should have been on this list, feel free to put it in the comment section at the bottom of the page!

1. Showing up to college in the south thinking everyone will be a Republican like you.

2. When you quickly realize that you are actually vastly outnumbered.

3. Finding your solid group of friends that were "raised right" like you. Bonus: You can rant to them any time and they won't even try to talk about how everything should be free!

4. Rolling your eyes when people say that you're only a Republican because your parents are.

5. When it's election season and you have to brace yourself to see your social media feeds blow up with political posts.

6. ...And then promptly ignoring (or trying to) your friends' constant liberal Facebook rants.

7. When your Democratic friends try to talk to you about politics.

8. When people say that all Republicans are racist, rich, old, white men.

9. Any time you see #FeeltheBern.

10. When the cute boy in your class wears a "Bernie for President" t-shirt and you die a little on the inside because you know it'll never work out.

11. And at the end of the day, you know being a Republican is the best and you have "No Ragrets" (We're the Millers reference, anyone?)

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
