8 Pigs To Remind You That Everything Will Be Alright

For some, getting back to school after break is exciting. For others, the mere thought of classes and studying and libraries excites chills up and down one's spine. So for those of you who are like me and are already falling victim to the I-hate-school slump, hopefully these piggies will keep you from crying "Wee, wee, wee" all the way home.

The Party Animals

These pigs look like they've had a wild time - and so should you! In the midst of homework, deadlines, and exams, let these pigs remind you to not forget to reserve some time for fun.

Pig in Boots

The only thing cuter than Puss in Boots, let Pig in Boots remind you that even though you might not be able to look as cute as him on a rainy day, no amount of bad weather should ever succeed in raining on your parade.

Run, Piggest, Run!

Piggest Gump here to remind you that exercise is the go-to de-stressor. Overwhelmed after marking your calendars with due dates? Go for a run!

I Snort for IceSnort!

I mean, I guess that's what pigs would call it, right? Regardless, your junk food of choice can also serve as an excellent de-stressor. Treat yourself every once in a while!

Princess Pig

Speaking of treating yourself, let this pig remind you that you deserve to be treated well. Treat yourself by getting your nails done, taking a mud bath, or dressing up as a princess (if that appeals to you).

Head Over Hooves

This couple reminds you to spend some time with your significant other. Or to let that special someone know what they really mean to you. And as another reminder, Valentine's Day is quickly approaching fellas.

That Was Sow Last Year...

Don't have a significant other? Don't care to have one? No worries! These girlfriends are here to remind you that boys can be stupid at times and that a best friend is all you will ever need. Having a boyfriend can be boar-ing anyways.

This semester might be tough. You might receive a disappointing grade on an exam, have an awkward cocktail date, or experience bad weather along the way. But no matter how stubby your snout may be, you should always stop to smell the flowers. With the right friends, right attitude, and right rain boots (even if your Bean Boots are on backorder until March), this semester can present you with many friends, laughs, and memories.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
