As a person who is perpetually cold, I've realized that I do things a little differently in my everyday life. I've adapted to my fingers always being freezing, not being able to feel my toes, and packing on extra layers. These are 15 truths anyone who is always cold understands:
1. Your hands are always at a negative temperature.
Most of the time you can’t feel your fingers, but it’s normal.
2. You have a habit of touch people to demonstrate just how cold you are.
3. You always are wearing an extra layer.
4. Air conditioning is the devil.
5. Socks and mittens are god-sent.
6. Walking down the frozen food aisle is like being in Antarctica...
and you try to avoid it at all costs.
7. Your diet mainly consists of soup.
8. People look at you funny whenever you put on another jacket while they are peeling off layers.
9. Sleeping without a thousand blankets isn't an option.
10. Goosebumps are a daily accessory.
11. Sweaters are a given.
Anything to contain your body heat.
12. Runny noses are just a part of your day-to-day life.
13. You don't understand all the excitement about winter...
Snow is awful.
14. Hot drinks are amazing!
They warm your insides and your outsides!
15. You can never have too many blankets.
16. You never want to get out of bed.
You finally just got it to the right temperature!
