7 Signs That Waking Up Is the Hardest Part Of Your Day

Waking up is hard. Why would anybody want to leave the comfort of their bed, and the feeling of being surrounded by pillows and your blankets? There are two kinds of people in this world: those who call themselves "morning people" and are all happy and cheerful in the morning, and those that can't stand them. Here are seven signs that you are not a morning person, and waking up is the hardest part of your day:

1. Your alarm clock is the most dreaded and annoying sound in the whole entire world!

2. You can easily ignore your friend or someone else trying to wake you up. All you have to do is roll back over and pretend it didn't happen.

3. However, if they rip off your blanket then its game-over, and they should expect to receive your wrath.

4. You will never understand how a single beam of sunlight can magically shine through the window and hit you directly in the face.

5. That moment of denial, when you decide you need to actually get up, but you really don't want to.

6. When you finally rise and must mentally and physically prepare for the day.

7. Then for the rest of the day, you just wish you could return back to your slumber.

Moral of the story: Waking up is hard, but it's something we must do –– so they say.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
