Lord of the Rings Online

You are in Greek life, part of three student clubs, playing on the soccer team, and also, trying to have a social life all while balancing 18 credits. So how can you possibly squeeze in time for a part-time job? If you are like me and thinking of other options to get you through this semester without breaking your bank account, here are seven ways to ease our worries.

1. Sell your clothes

Can't seem to shake the sloppy seconds of your sister's hand-me-downs? Getting tired of your wardrobe because it's so five minutes ago? Or you just need some extra cash? Plato's closet loves taking designer clothing that's in good condition, but if you don't have what they are looking for, try the app: Poshmark. You can buy, sell, or even trade clothing with other people. Just don't buy more than you bargained for.

2. Make Crafts for Etsy

Embrace the creativity in your life: sell your crafts on Etsy. As long as your creation looks cool and trendy, your shop should get some attention. Items can range from friendship bracelets to expensive pieces of abstract art. Plus, it's fun to create, well, basically whatever you want.

3. Donate

Are you deathly afraid of needles? If so, than this option is probably not for you. But if you don't mind being poked with shiny objects, hospitals and donation centers accept blood plasma, bone marrow, or sperm. Donation compensation can range from $25- $1,000, depending on what and how regularly you donate.

4. Participate in Medical Studies

If you don't mind being a doctor's personal guinea pig for however many hours, this option can pay big. Sleep studies, drug experiments, brain analyses, and exercise habits are all examples. Some participants were paid $1,000 from just one night.

5. Care.com

Make an account today and see what opportunities are available in the area. Some parents are just looking for someone to watch their kids on date night. However, not all jobs listed are for babysitting. There are also odd jobs like grocery shopping or being someone's personal driver. You could either make this a one-time-gig or turn it into a regular part time job, they do give you both options on the website.

6. Become an Uber Driver

If you have a car on campus, and happen to be at least 21 years old, Uber is always an option. If you can deal with loud drunks that may throw up in your car, you are pretty much hired. If you have spare time and like to meet new people, driving isn't all that bad, right?

7. Tutoring

If you are succeeding academically, you could help other students with their college work. If you know you are good at a certain subject, post a flyer with your information on it and students may eventually contact you. Although if you would like a more stable tutoring position, the school is always hiring.

Remember, these are all (somewhat) safe and legal options to have some extra cash when you need it. Don't do anything stupid.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
