Dear Pinterest,

I had found you on a cold and uneventful night quite some time ago. I immediately became obsessed and I used you all the time. Now, although I’ve toned down my use a bit, there is still not a day that goes by that I do not use you.

You are one of the best things that has ever happened to me, and you’ve helped me with so much — come up with ideas, make me laugh, and plan for the future. There is nothing I could ever say to discredit you. So, this is me thanking you for helping me with every little problem I have had no matter how big or small.

First, thank you for making me laugh with all of the memes, quotes, and pictures that you have pop up on my dashboard. From books and movies to those weird little stick figures, each one is well cherished.

Thanks for giving me cute, quick, cheap, and D-I-Y gift ideas when I had spent weeks procrastinating and last minute had to come up with different birthday and Christmas presents for each of my friends and family. Oh! And speaking of D-I-Y, thanks for giving me all of the homemade craft and art ideas that I seem to make a huge mess of about 99 percent of the time. Mason jars are officially and forever will be my favorite items in the world.

Furthermore, thanks for letting me make gigantic messes with all of those recipes and meals you have given me. They never look like they do in the picture, but they always come out delicious. That’s what really matters.

Thanks for helping me decorate my dorm room and getting prepared for college. I was wandering around clueless, until I turned to you. Now, I am even getting ahead, so I thank you, in advance, for helping me plan my future wedding and future home. I may be a single and broke college student, but a girl can dream — right?

Also, thanks for being there during prom season. I would have never been able to find a dress, shoes, jewelry, and settle on what to do with my hair, makeup, and nails without being able to click on your tiny little button.

Afterwards, while exploring ideas for nails I came across so many nail art ideas that I always have to try. They always look perfect on my left hand and like a three-year-old did them on my right. It was a lot of fun either way. My nail polish obsession has just gotten worse, but I guess we all need something to fixate on.

Lastly, I would like to thank you for all the style tips. I’d probably look like a two-year-old dressed me or a slob every day if you hadn’t been around. Now, I have more clothes than I can count. I’m lucky I’m able to fit everything in my dorm armoire.

So, thank you, Pinterest, for everything. I couldn’t have done it without you.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
