14 Signs That You Are Actually A Child Trapped In An Adult’s Body

Well, you've somehow managed to make it to adulthood...Congrats! But, you know that deep down you are still a child on the inside. Being a true child at heart is actually pretty great. You have a certain sense of innocence about you and the people around you love it. You can easily have a fun night by just playing games, laughing, and doing mischievous things with your friends. Enjoy it and embrace it! Never stop acting like your true inner child, even if someone tells you to grow up. Here are the signs:

1. You still eat the cereals you ate as a child.

Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Reese’s Puffs, Cocoa Puffs and of course, Lucky Charms (and you still save the marshmallow charms for last)

2. If you could, you would eat ice cream for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

3. The idea of the 25 days of Christmas actively excites you.

4. You still eat as if you are a growing child.

5. And when you get home from school you still get a snack...Preferably a Capri Sun & a Fruit Roll Up.

6. The opening scene to all of your favorite movies begins with this:

7. Your attention span has not improved since you were like 5.

8. You take naps...and probably more now than you did as a child.

9. You try not to spend any of your own money. “Mom, can you buy me this? Pleaseeee, I really need it.” She can’t say no to those eyes.

10. You wish your mom still did your laundry because let’s face it, she does it best anyway.

11. You’ve always enjoyed coloring, but now you can use the excuse that you’re doing it for your mental health because that’s a thing.

12. You still have a ton of fun playing board games and video games and love winning family game night.

13. You still want to keep a few things from your childhood because it's just too hard to part with them.

14. And finally, the thought of graduating and becoming an actual adult scares you.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
