25 Daily Struggles Only Clumsy Girls WiIl Understand

Anyone who knows me has at one point been a witness of my frequent public embarrassment...clumsiness! Being a girl is hard as it is, now add being clumsy and you get a not so good combination. Luckily, I have come to terms with the reality of it all...The floor just really likes me, and it loves getting the best of me.

1. Heels are our worst enemy. We can go from cute to an unfortunate mess in seconds!

2. Walking with a group of friends is always a bad idea...

3. We always have random bruises and scratches and lose track of how we got them.

4. We accidentally punch ourselves in the face, then frown because we realize what a mess we are.

5. You were that kid that got hit in the face during recess.

6. Luckily, you've developed a high tolerance for pain.

7. You have a cracked iPhone...because you dropped it...and dropped with it

8. We feel like the world is out to get us...we all have said "I swear that wasn't there!" at least once.

9. We freak out and say "I think I just broke my ankle!" every time we trip.

10. We spill things all the time, and feel incredibly awkward after we do it.

11. We get annoyed with the people that make a big deal of our accident and appreciate the ones who don't.

12. We're the inspiration behind "the dropping your phone on your face" meme.

13. Walking down the aisle on our wedding day is something we secretly fear.

`

14. We're a horrible hugger because we always end up losing balance or accidentally elbowing the person.

15. You're either really disgraced by your fall or really impressed by it (you'd be surprised how creative our falls can get).

16. Bumping into walls and stubbing our toes is usual.

17. Staircases are either really out to get us or we just have a magnetic attraction towards them.

18. We're that person that walks into the glass sliding door at the party.

19. People never trust us carrying their food...I mean, do we really blame them?

20. Wearing white is one of the most horrible decisions we could ever make.

21. We accentuate the word "really" far too much..."OMG I'm REALLY sorry!" or "REALLY I'm fine REALLY, it's all good."

22. Alicia Keys dedicated "Girl On Fire" to you because we've set something on fire at least once.

23. D for dancing? Or D for disaster?

24. We have mastered recovering a fall or trip..."Just keep walking, just keep walking." goes through our mind all the time.

25. We get really excited when we meet someone that goes though the same struggles as us.

Truth of the matter: no one is perfect. We should embrace our clumsiness and laugh at our mistakes! After all, we didn't choose the clumsy life, the clumsy life chose us! Brush it off, and let's keep doing our thing!

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
