" Grey's Anatomy" is the medical drama of our generation. It gives you all the feels, you relate to the characters, and it keeps you on the edge of your seat. For all the true fans out there, this list could go on forever, but here are seven reasons why "Grey's Anatomy" is the greatest show ever.
1. The characters are like your friends: You feel their pain, their stress, and their happiness. They drink a lot of tequila, so they're completely relatable. When any of them die (and everyone on this show dies), you feel like you lost a friend.
2. It's an emotional roller coaster: One minute you're crying sad tears, and the next minute you're crying happy tears. Regardless, there are almost always tears involved.
3. Everyone is hot: McDreamy, Jackson Avery, Mark Sloan, Karev, do I need to say more?
4. It makes you feel smart: After a couple seasons you feel like you could definitely perform most of the surgeries. Push one of epi! Charge to 300, clear!
5. It's psychologically addicting: If you watch it enough, you might start to confuse events in the show with events in your real life. It might be slightly unhealthy, but it's the ultimate sign of a true fan.
6. The music: Aside from the musical episode in season seven, the music used in the show is great. You'll never be able to listen to The Fray's "How to Save a Life" the same way ever again.
7. It's all sorts of goals: Friendship goals, relationship goals, life goals.
It's a beautiful day to save lives.
