Still stuck with that itchy throat, nasally drip feeling? Well you probably have caught a case of Bieber fever. Justin Bieber has millions of his fans catching the Bieber fever once again through his new album, "Purpose." Why are so many people becoming infected with this illness you may ask? Because he conveys so many relatable messages through his songs. Here are the messages that Bieber conveys through songs in his new album.
"Sorry"
“Sorry” is one of Bieber’s top tracks on his new album. This song is so catchy that you can’t help but dance and sing the lyrics at the top of your lungs – we all know we can’t hit the same notes as Biebs but it’s worth a shot right? What is even better about this song is the message the Bieber is trying to get across to his listeners. This song is ultimately about the moment in a relationship when you realize it is time to admit that you made a mistake and hopefully you’re not too late, “Is it too late now to say sorry?” Bieber causes his fans to catch the fever because his message is so relatable, we all experience times in our relationships with family, friends and significant others that an apologize is demanded.
"Love Yourself"
Biebs slows down the tempo of the album with his song “Love Yourself” which hones in on the idea that the speaker has moved on and the ex-lover should do the same thing. Wow, Biebs you did it again – so relatable! I would love to meet someone who can honestly say that both they and their ex were able to move on from one another at the same time – highly doubt you can find that person! The mainly repeated line in this song, “If you think I’m still holding onto something, you should go and love yourself” says that if you think I am still holding on to a part of our relationship you should probably go a reevaluate your life, focus on yourself, cause you’re totally wrong. Wow – my temperature’s rising!
"I’ll Show You"
Bieber makes non-beliebers become sympathetic of his past public displays of rebellion in his song, “I’ll Show You." Biebs says, “This life's not easy, I'm not made out of steel, don't forget that I'm human, don't forget that I'm real,” to remind his listeners that he’s human too, he makes mistakes also what matters is that he is growing past this stage of his life and maturing. Once again you nailed it Biebs, nobody is perfect and it’s okay that you made those mistakes in the past but follow as you say and show us who you really are now.
Someone find a doctor who can prescribe me and millions of other listens a prescription to cure the Bieber fever. Welcome back, Bieber!
