Yep. You read that right. Munchies. There are countless reasons one might have the munchies. Maybe you overslept and had to skip breakfast to make it to class. Maybe you just finished a tough Brazilian Jiu Jitzu class. Or maybe you're doing that thing that's illegal in spite of its countless medicinal benefits and its inability to be overdosed.

Regardless of the reason, you're hungrier than usual, and you need a place where you can splurge without breaking the bank. These food destinations are handpicked by yours truly, based off of some really tasty first-hand experience.

Sheetz

Sheetz. Oh Sheetz. The single most delicious location in the world if you find yourself in an enhanced state of hunger. To many, it's just a gas station. To my friends and me, those touchscreens that we place our order on are the gateway to the holy afterlife. From Wisconsin Cheese Bites to breakfast sandwiches to double stuffed burritos, you will never go wrong. Ever. I promise you.

Taco Bell

The stereotype is true. This place is amazing when you have the munchies. I'll just leave it at that. There is one downside to Taco Bell -- as the hours vary depending on the location, my local Taco Bell closes before midnight.

IHOP

I kid you not. IHOP tastes like a Five Star restaurant when you have the munchies. Go my friend. GO!

CiCi's Pizza

Pizza is good no matter what. But at CiCi's you can treat yourself to an endless supply of pizzas, pastas, and deserts. My personal favorite item at CiCi's is the Mac 'n Cheese pizza.

Last But Not Least... The Good Ol' Pantry

Your pantry has been unappreciated. There's probably a lot of yummy stuff stashed in there. Consider raiding the pantry if you can't figure out where to go. Especially if your pantry is loaded with Mac N Cheese, Sour Patch Kids, Goldfish and Funyuns.

Food is a great thing. It's almost always enjoyable. Some days, you crave it more than usual. And when this happens, rest assured that there are several different options to indulge in.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
