Bachelor of the Week: Pete Kosiarek

100

From favorite hobbies to turn ons and turn offs, Pete Kosiarek gives us a peek inside the mind of Purdue's most eligible bachelor.

A remarkable young man, Pete shared with me some things you're sure to find interesting.

Q: Describe yourself in three words.
A: Unpredictable. Gripping. Electrifying.

Q: What is your favorite hobby?
A: Drinking scotch with my grandfather.

Q:
Tell me about your idea of the perfect date.
A: We would be in Vegas. We would stay in the $40,000 a night Hugh Hefner suite at The Palms. We'll have a crazy night there and then fly privately to the Caribbean to go island hopping for a couple days. I'll pay for it with that million I just got.

Q:
Would you say that girls find you irresistible?
A: Hardly.

Q: What's the first thing you would do if you were just handed a million in cash?
A: Drop out of school immediately and buy a plane ticket. I can't decide where I would go now, but I would bring all of my closest friends to a random place. I'd probably decide in the terminal, plan as little as possible.

Q:
What's the first thing you notice about a girl?
A: If she has glasses, those stand out to me. Otherwise, it's the eyes every time. Girls who can rock glasses grab my attention. I'm nearly blind, but I rock my glasses whenever I wear them. I rock those things hard.

Q: Who's your celebrity crush and why?
A: Emma Watson, no question. I'm a huge sucker for that accent.

Q:
Turn ons?
A: Girls that drink beer. So much that they throw up, and then rally. The vom and rally is a huge turn on for me. But you gotta look good doing it, of course.

Q:
Turn offs?

A: If a girl's hands and feet are bigger than mine, it's just not going to work out. I have really big hands and feet. It's really awkward.

Q:
What do you think is your best tangible feature?
A: My hands or my feet. I just can't decide.

Q:
What's the coolest thing you've ever done?
A: Ran with the bulls in Spain. One night in Spain my friend also convinced a big time nightclub owner that I was some famous person. It lead to us getting driven around in a limo that night with bottle service at every club. Two security guards went everywhere with us. It got so crazy that hundreds of kids started asking to get pictures with me and my friends. We later got thrown out of our private table because I happened to be peeing off the balcony as the owner discovered I was a total fraud. We almost got our asses beat and thrown in jail. It was epic though.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
