15 Instagram Accounts to Follow for Major Style Inspiration
The Stylish Soul

Hello! What do I turn to when I'm in need of style inspiration? Instagram! There are so many unique style perspectives and individualized takes on current trends on Instagram that almost the second that I open the app, I'm inspired.

However, sometimes it can be a little tricky to find unique style inspiration on Instagram. Of course, we all know about major college fashion accounts such as @nastygal, @urbanoutfitters, @cfashionista and so on and so forth. But what about all the hidden style gems on Instagram? The best or most stylish Instagrammers won't necessarily have 100K followers and they're not as easy to find. Well today, I'm sharing 15 of my biggest sources of Instagram inspiration with you all. Enjoy (and be prepared to double tap SO many photos from these fashionistas)!

1. @aishahatter. Aisha is a 23 year-old, self described "creative creature" working as the marketing manager for CollegeFashionista in New York. I've been crushing on her style for a while now and her Instagram account is one of the only accounts that I have post notifications turned on for; she's the epitome of cool. Her instagram combines her hip personal style with her life in NYC and I can't get enough!

2. @kaciecone. Gather major seventies bohemian inspiration from Kacie Cone's Instagram. One could almost mistake her beautiful hippie-inspired feed for the images of a Free People catalog.

3. @kaycaden. Kelsey, a CollegeFashionista intern and fashion marketing and management major at SCAD, proves her top-notch style skills through her carefully cultivated Instagram. She posts a variety of different images from full-body outfit shots to interesting detail shots. Her hip style plays around with a variety of different trends and inspirations. One day, she'll be rocking a sixties-inspired turtleneck and the next she'll be rocking an edgy look like the one above. Her unique personal style, witty captions and flawless lipstick will keep you hooked on her instagram.

4. @_lou_baby_. You know how people used to comment "goals" on other Instagram accounts? Well, if that was still a thing, I'd have commented "goals" on Lou's account about a hundred times. The best way to describe Lou's style would be to describe it as fearlessly free-spirited. Lou isn't afraid to experiment and to take risks with her outfits. And it certainly pays off. Every single time I see one of her new outfits, I'm blown away. Her outfits are definitely seventies-inspired but in a refreshingly funky way. Like we haven't seen before. If you're not following her, you really should be!

5. @stephaniesthreads. Wishing I could go thrift shopping with Stephanie! She always has the coolest thrifted and vintage finds. Follow for ideas on how to pair modern styles with thrifted and vintage pieces.

6. @phobymo. One of my all time favorite Instagrams! This account is run by a Philadelphia photographer, Mo. I had the chance to shoot with her last season and it was an absolute dream. Her account intertwines fashion and photography wonderfully.

7. @wildmoon. Think seventies meet NYC meet Free People and you'll get Diana's account, Wild Moon. There's a soft, romantic vintage mood to her outfits that is unlike most of the other Instagrams that I follow and therefore, a major source of style inspiration for myself.

8. @sleeplessinsuburbia. Seidi Häkkänen, the Instagrammer and blogger behind Sleepless in Suburbia, provides me with style inspiration that I thought could only be found in edgy editorials. Seidi's creativity runs rampant throughout her Instagram account and she's never scared to try something bold.

9. @caturdaystyle. Elise, Instagrammer and blogger behind Caturday Style, may be one of the nicest people that I've ever encountered on Instagram; she's wildly supportive of her followers and those that she's following. Additionally, her personal style serves as a source major fashion inspiration. Elise manages to take basic pieces and trends and style them in an effortlessly cool, minimalistic way.

10. @o.ray. Olivia, a CollegeFashionista intern, caught my eye a while ago for her feed which effortlessly blends fashion posts with lifestyle posts [browse through her IG and you'll see what I mean/you'll automatically wish you were friends with her.]

11. @h0tgirlseatingpizza. Okay so this may be a slightly more popular account but I love it so much that I just had to include it in this list. This account features photos of stylish 20-somethings nibbling on drool-worthy slices of pizzas. There's a distinct retro feeling to this Instagram with many photos featuring Polaroid images. This account intertwines fashion with food with a retro appeal, creating an interesting modern cultural account. Now, if only I looked that good devouring a piece of pizza!

12. @shearenusch. Shea interns for CollegeFashionista while attending school for art and you can certainly tell from looking at her feed. I've been following Shea for a while now and am still hooked on her Instagram feed. She complements her fashion photographs with lifestyle photographs which paint a photo of her creative, artistic life. If you're seeking out not only style inspiration but how to majorly up your Instagram game, I'd recommend checking out her Instagram.

13. @thestylishsoul. Allison Ramirez, the Instagrammer and blogger behind The Stylish Soul may actually have the coolest wardrobe ever. She's constantly trying out the latest trends and isn't afraid to be bold with her personal style. I admire Allison's spot-on, adventurous style and definitely look to her Instagram as well as her blog, The Stylish Soul, for style inspiration. As a side note, she also has the quirkiest freckles ever which I'm totally envious of.

14. @theleachen. A great source of outfit ideas for college students!

15. @allyzacek. Another CollegeFashionista intern, Ally serves as a major source of fashion inspiration. Her style has a sophisticated distinction from the style of other college students in a refreshingly modern way. She keeps her style fresh by mixing subtle trends into her classic wardrobe.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
