If you're looking for some new and interesting movies to watch this winter break look no further. Here's a list of the most bizarre and interesting movies available for your viewing pleasure on Netflix.

1. Cruel & Unusual:

If you like a movie that makes you think, you'll love "Cruel & Unusual." Set in a bizarre and trippy prison, our main character is accused of killing his wife and in a twist of events he finds himself in an odd predicament that neither he nor the audience can fully understand. The movie will really play with your mind and your perceptions of reality and mortality, a great watch on a calm cold night.

2. White Rabbit:

Another movie that has the audience questioning reality. This movie surrounds a troubled boy with a mental disorder that prevents him from knowing what is real and what's only in his head. It draws attention to the need for better premeditative psychiatric care in the wake of increasingly violent acts across the U.S. It's a modern commentary on violent tragedy that gives its viewers a new viewpoint and has them guessing on what is real and what isn't with a chillingly ambiguous ending.

3. Frank:

A musical genius with a papier-mâché head leads a band of misfits on a bizarre and unconventional retreat to create a new album. They find themselves spending more time than they thought creating the perfect sound for their mentally unsound leader in this quirky film that is equal parts funny and weird with some serious undertones.

4. Dirty Girl:

.

A promiscuous teen and her unlikely gay best friend are cast out in a movie set in a heavily-religious Oklahoma town in the late 80s. When her overtly sexual attitude leads her to be placed in special ed, she meets her unlikely new best friend after being forced to parent a bag of flour together. The two set out to find her long-lost absentee father and their playful road trip makes for a fun movie that gives you all the feels.

5. Enter the Void:

A psychedelic trip in movie form, Enter the Void shows an intense trip through the eyes of the main character in a surreal first person view. Watching the movie through it's entirety is nothing short of a challenge as we witness the most insane trip of all time: death. We watch as our main character transitions from life to death and what he sees is nothing short of incredible. A movie like you've never seen before to challenge the audience and their ideas of what the afterlife entails, not a movie for those who aren't up for the challenge.

5. TiMER:

What if you could find out the day and time you'll meet your soulmate? "TiMER" is based on the premise that when you're old enough, a device can be placed on your arm that starts counting down to the day you're supposed to meet your soulmate. Only problem is that if your soulmate doesn't have a timer your countdown won't begin. Our main character has had a blank timer for years and we watch her struggle as she tries to find her perfect match in a quirky and fun film with a new twist to the classic rom com genre.

7. The One I Love:

A couple once madly in love faces struggles in their marriage and their therapist suggests a couples retreat. What happens once they get there is incredibly strange and leaves the couple with more confusion than answers. The premise is a plot twist and leaves the audience guessing on the reality of the seemingly perfect weekend getaway, another movie with an ambiguous ending that leaves you wanting more.

8. Oculus:

A horror movie that'll make you think twice about looking in the mirror. "Oculus" depicts a brother-sister duo determined to prove the dangers of this mysterious mirror that claimed their childhood years ago. This sister is hell-bent on proving to the world what dangers lie beneath the glass and through this wild journey of a movie we're forced to decide what side of the mirror we're looking from as the demented wall fixture plays mind games with us all.

9. Welcome To Me:

Kristen Wiig like you've never seen her before in a serious movie as her character battles a mental disorder that isolates her from those around her. Barricaded in her little home she obsessively plays the lottery until one day she wins. Her first big purchase? Her own TV show where she lets her unusual personality shine through in televisions weirdest show where she says anything and everything that comes to her unstable mind.

10. Rubber:

A homicidal tire is on the loose that kills anyone in its way. The plot of the story makes very little sense and keeps you wondering what will happen next the whole way through. Who knew a tire could be so scary?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
