5 Pieces Of Advice For Finals Week
101 questions

Finals week, is well, finals week. And, it's not going away anytime soon. So the best thing to do is to suck it up and receive some much-needed advice. We know it's not easy, so here's a little bit of motherly help to get you through.

1. Stop watching Netflix.

Finals week is here to stay, guys. So tell Netflix you can chill later because you have some serious sh*t to do.

2. Give Facebook a break.

Facebook is probably one of the biggest evils at this time. Aside from NEEDING to know who is posting a cat video right now at 5 a.m., you also have loads of friends on there begging you to come out because it's finals and YOLO.

3. You'll have plenty of time to Twerk. At the END of the semester.

Think about it, remember Halloween (or maybe you don't remember, which is basically my point) and how amazing that party was? Well, this party will be a million times better not only because you've been mentally drained all week, but because at the end you will feel accomplished. Accomplished and ready to TURN UP.

4. Don't forget to sleep.

Let's face it, without sleep you are nothing. How will you do well if you don't take care of yourself first?

5. Remember, this is college.

You've probably heard this enough by this point, but we're going to tell you again - your college years will be the best of your life. Embrace this insane moment of all-nighters, Taco Bell at 4 a.m. and crying in the library, because one day you'll look back and be like 'That was me. I did that.'

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
