As we approach dead week/finals week, we all have a million thoughts running through our heads. I felt these feelings could best be represented by my very favorite TV show, "Grey's Anatomy." Nothing would be McDreamier than making an A in zoology. Can I get an amen?
1. Reminding yourself that there's only one week left.
2. Trying to take full advantage of your tutor during dead week.
3. Thinking about the extra credit opportunities you didn’t take advantage of at the beginning of the semester.
4. When your parents call to ask how your grades are looking (my personal fave)
.5. When they try to lecture you over what you're doing wrong and how to fix it.
6. Trying to convince yourself that what they're saying is wrong.
7. Trying to form an alliance with the smartest kid in class.
8. Psyching yourself up for the final.
9. Realizing you have to make a 123 on the final to have an A in the class.
10. Actually walking into the final.
11. Looking at everyone else and thinking there will definitely be a curve.
12. When the professor announces there will not be a curve:
13. Trying to remember everything that's on the final so you can help your friends.
14. When your friends still fail despite your efforts.
15. When you had convinced yourself that this grade could make up for the rest.
16. Having a complete mental breakdown.
17. Seeing the professor who flunked you around campus.
18. When it all ends up OK in the end and you and your best friend live to see another semester.
