Over Spring Break earlier this year, Justin Lott was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, manslaughter and leaving the scene of an accident involving an injury or death in a Montgomery, AL, car crash that killed Gamma Phi Beta sorority sister Kasey Waychoff.
After making bond, Lott was required wear a GPS monitor and Breathalyzer at all times. Now, Lott has requested a court hearing scheduled for September 18 to have those requirements removed before his trial date, scheduled for early 2015.
Gamma Phi Beta has started a petition that would excuse any option to have those removed. Those who would like to sign can find the petition at the Gamma Phi Beta house at 1405 W. Third St. in Stillwater as well as at any other fraternity or sorority house on the Oklahoma State campus. The petition will be available today through Sunday evening.
