Arguably one of the best and most exciting parts of being in a sorority is becoming a big.
When I joined a sorority, I always looked forward to the day I finally got a little. I couldn’t wait to tell her all my secrets, to be there to support her, to make way too many useless crafts for her, and to just be the best big I could be. This past year, my dreams came true and I got exactly what I wanted and more. Literally, I got more. More than one little. Two littles. I got two littles.
Pro: More Littles, More Love
This one is pretty self explanatory. Two littles= two littles to fawn over= two littles to show the ropes to= two littles to gossip with= two littles to get Starbucks with= two littles to swipe you for food on campus…you get the picture.
Con: Spreading the Love Equally
Maybe it’s just me and my conscious, but having two littles means you have to make a major effort to not have a favorite. If you hang out with one little, you better invite the other little. If you text one little about her boy problems, you better text the other one and hope she has some boy problems you can fix, too. The last thing I want is to make one of my offspring feel neglected, ya know?
Pro: Crafting x2
Do you love crafting? If you answered yes, inquire into having two littles. If there’s one thing better than making a wonderful craft from the heart, it’s making two wonderful crafts from the heart.
Con: Crafting x2
Do you love crafting? If you answered no, definitely do not inquire into having two littles. Also, those $2 bottles of paint will quickly and quietly sneak up on your wallet. You have been warned.
Pro: Two Littles= Two Grandlittles
LOOK AT THE BIG FAMILY YOU’VE STARTED! I mean, your grandlittles will have aunts! All because of you and your big heart. #yougoglencoco #4grandlittlesforyouglencoco
Pros:3 Cons:2
Pros win! Overall, having two littles may be a tad more work than you’d expect but, as they say, two littles are better than one!
