Why Your Obsession With Teen Drama Television Is Completely Acceptable

The summer television season has come to a close, and the latest fall season is fast approaching. Now is the time to catch up on all your favorite shows, like "The Vampire Diaries," and "Pretty Little Liars." If you're already caught up, you can always watch a classic like "Gossip Girl." Sure, some people say these shows are made for 15-year-old girls, but...

They deal with real life issues.

The story lines are always full of suspense.

And every relationship is totally realistic. Don't feel ashamed that you’ve been waiting for your version of Damon Salvator, Sebastian Kydd, Nate Archibald, or any other TV babe since season one.

So just ignore those people that say the story line is unrealistic.

Because you know they kick ass, and maybe you've even picked up a few moves.

Sometimes you might think to yourself, maybe I am too old to be watching this.

But would they make spin-off series if they didn’t want you to keep watching?

When you've had a bad day, you just need some alone time with your TV.

So if someone tells you you're methods of de-stressing suck.

Or that you’re too old be watching “________.”

Remember, some of these babes are in not one, but two shows.

And when you’ve watched every episode available on Netflix, and Hulu...

Then you might think maybe this isn’t healthy.

But it’s OK girl, just keep doin’ you, they'll be waiting.

I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
