A "Gilmore Girls" themed diet consists of 90 percent coffee and 10 percent junk. It's simply amazing how Lorelai and Rory stay so thin, when they eat so much! If you're interested in trying to eat like a Gilmore Girl, then you have come to the right place. Here is a full menu of what a Gilmore Girl would eat on a daily basis.

1. First, the essentials.

Coffee. Lots and lots of coffee.

2. Breakfast.

Coffee, of course, black. Pop-Tarts are a must, as they are a staple in the Gilmore household. Also, pancakes at Luke's, because his pancakes are better than Cesar's.

3. Lunch.

Why not stop by Luke's? Here, a burger and fries would be nice, along with some black coffee. On the holidays, there's even a Santa burger.

4. Dinner (Monday to Thursday).

If Luke's is nearby, grab a burger! If it's a movie night, order in! Pizza or Chinese -- or both are great choices.

5. Friday night dinner.

Ah, dinner at Emily's. First there are drinks. For the adults, a gin martini is always the best decision -- Lorelai's favorite. As for minors, Richard would serve some club soda. For dinner, there could be any assortment of fancy dishes. Lorelai and Rory's favorite would have to be spaghetti, with pudding for dessert.

6. Movie nights.

Any assortment of junk food will do. Pizza, Chinese, candy, Luke's, popcorn, doughnuts, you name it. As long as a good movie is on, the food keeps coming.

7. Snacks.

If you're having some girls over to study, or just need something on the go, Pop-Tarts are the best idea. You could even put an apple in the center of the plate, just to be festive.

8. Desserts.

Pie or cake from Weston's Bakery -- you can't go wrong!

Food is part of what makes a Gilmore a Gilmore, and we wouldn't have it any other way.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
