'Fuller House:' A Look At The Return Of The Tanners
People

Back in 1995, our favorite TV family, the Tanners, had their finale. We thought we would never see them again, but they have returned! We waited twenty years for this classic to get a reboot and Netflix delivered. Here's a review of the first season of "Fuller House."

Your favorite family is just as funny as you remember!

Everyone is back together and just as funny as ever! Expect to see all of your favorite "Full House" memories eluded to or quoted. Danny, Jesse, and Joey are exactly the same. Now that the girls are all grown up, they're pretty funny too!

There's a new parental trio!

The three girls essentially function the same way as the men that raised them: DJ is the responsible parent like Danny, Stephanie is in the music business and is the cool aunt, and Kimmy serves as a best friend comic relief much as Joey did. The dynamic between these three feels authentic and really works. Although it seems like Danny, Jesse, and Joey style parenting, today there are a lot of new challenges with electronics and popularity of the Internet, smartphones and social media. The trio is new to parenting, so they're learning as they go along. (Sound familiar?)

And a new set of kids!

The "Fuller House" kids are, of course, similar to DJ, Stephanie and Michelle. But kids have changed a lot in the last twenty years, and these guys reflect it. This new batch of kids are age-wise similar to the generation before them at the start of the series: Jackson is roughly the same age as DJ, Max is around Stephanie's age, and Tommy is an infant. You can't forget Kimmy's daughter Ramona, who is the same age as Jackson, definitely has an odd-functioning friendship that reminds us of their mothers.

Kimmy Gibbler has the funniest scarves!

Back in the day, Kimmy always wore the strangest outfits -- even by 90s standards. Now that Kimmy is grown up, mostly, she wears more mature clothing. Except these scarves. They are hilarious and awesome and I want to make them!

Steve comes back!

DJ's first love returns -- and he still loves her, which makes things complicated. I won't say any more for the sake of spoilers, but I'm so glad he came back! I always loved Steve.

All of the nostalgia...

Everything you loved in the original is back. Positive values, 90s dance moves, retro fashion, catchphrases, the characters you loved, and deep conversations. Everything I wanted and expected "Fuller House" to be, it was!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
