Are you looking for that special something in the mail once a month? Check out these 5 awesome services!

As a self proclaimed shopaholic and lover of getting mail, I have tried almost every and any monthly service you can think of. I have found ones that range from food to books to the next up and coming beauty supplies. There are definitely ones that I have tried and loved or tried and hated. There are ones that aren't worth the money and others that are simply not very interesting at all for me. However: here is my current list of ones that I am loving.

  1. Graze Box: Graze.com offers an every 2 weeks or once a week box that contains 4 snacks that are tailored to you. I tried this box for the first time this month and let me tell you, I FELL IN LOVE. The snacks are small, but totally filling and guess what. The box is only 6 DOLLARS. Wait. what? 6 DOLLARS! That is so cheap for food that I have come to love so much! My current favorite snack is pomodoro rustichella. An awesome blend of basil, oregano, cheese and tomato flavors on croutons, almonds and mini breadsticks. Even better, if you're looking for something low in calories, there is a separate box option for that too! Definitely worth looking at! If you want a more in-depth look, check out my blog post from 6/25/2014!
  2. Ipsy Glam Bag: Ipsy.com offers a ton of products to buy, but my latest favorite from them is their Glam Bag. To get a Glam Bag for $10/month you have to get on the list by doing different tasks but, I received my first ipsy bag the other day WITH FULL SIZED PRODUCTS and it came in an adorable bag by Rebecca Minkoff. This is a way better deal that Birchbox is. If you want a more in-depth review  check out my blog post on it: Here
  3. PopSugar Must Haves: If you are into watching beauty videos on youtube, then you MUST have heard about this monthly box. PopSugar.com offers a monthly box for $39.95 for multiple FULL SIZED products. That's why it isn't very cheap. All the contents in it are so worth the money and they aren't just beauty products. If you want to see an example, search on youtube!
  4. Julep Maven Box: Julep.com offers a monthly box for $20/month offering two nail polishes customized to your style and some special finds! I loved getting these monthly boxes with new colors for the season! It was so fun to open the box and see what was inside!
  5. Target Beauty Box: target about once a season releases this box which, I have yet to try, but I am so going to since it is only $5. It is a one time purchase that comes with the latest and most popular items for that season. I have read amazing reviews and can't wait to try it.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
