Nothing says "college student" quite like binge watching a show on Netflix to avoid all responsibilities, and there is no better show to watch than ABC's "Scandal." Kerry Washington dominates every scene as powerhouse Olivia Pope, and viewers can't get enough of the scandalous lives of D.C.'s elite. Although a love triangle among the President of the United States, a crisis management lawyer, and a spy might not mirror real life, man, "Scandal" GIFs have perfectly summed up what it's like to be a college student.

1. When you have to write a huge essay due tomorrow that you put off until the last minute

2. When you have a group project where you end up doing most of it on your own

3. When you're up all night studying for an exam and time seems completely irrelevant

4. When dorm life doesn't live up to your high standards of living

5. When you've had the longest day of classes and club meetings and all you want to do is relax...

6. ...Or when you've had an extra stressful day and just relaxing won't cut it

7. When you try to pay attention in class but your professor doesn't seem to make any sense

8. When you and your friends go to a party even though you're the only one in a partying mood

9. When a professor tells you "the test will be straightforward and if you study, you'll do fine," but when you take it, it's exactly the opposite...

10. ...And when you're walking out of the classroom you just feel completely defeated

11. When someone walks into your dorm room uninvited and you have to somehow force them out

12. When theres nothing to eat in the dining hall and you and your friend give each other "the look"...

13. ...And you end up having to find food that somewhat resembles a dinner even though it never actually does

14. When you score above the average grade on an exam

15. When your friends tell you about all of the interesting things you did on Saturday night

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
