So we all know and remember Britney's meltdown in 2007, right? It started way before that, but the big breakdown was in 2007. It was all over the news and in the tabloids. We can't forget the "Leave Britney alone," videos, either. Britney Spears has made quite the comeback though and recovered from it with I guess you could say, grace?
Britney's meltdown taught us a few things.
It taught us that no matter what the situation is, we can make it through. It taught us that no matter how hard life may be trying to drag us down that we can recover. What ever the circumstances are there is always something to live for. Britney had her two boys taken from her during that time. She lost everything. She had to be put under the watch and care of her father. She shaved her head. She attacked someone's car with an umbrella and didn't she drop her baby? She definitely was caught riding around with her baby in the driver's seat with her.
Oh Britney, how we all love thee.
Oh Britney, so fierce.
Britney, who taught us so much.
Britney, who taught us to never give up even after hitting rock bottom and that sometimes it takes hitting the absolute lowest of the lowest point ever to shine again.
Britney, who taught us not to hide what we went through and embrace it instead because it's a part of who we are and we can't change it.
Britney, who has so much confidence.
Britney, who taught it is OK to go a little crazy.
It's OK to go a lot crazy if we really need to!
Britney, who taught us to love ourselves and be silly.
Britney, who taught us to not take crap from any one.
Britney, who taught us to not let a man take control of our lives and money.
Britney, the one that taught us that single moms can be hot.
Britney, who taught us we do not have to conform to society's version of beautiful because we are all beautiful even if we aren't a size zero.
Britney, who taught us you can still look smoking hot at 34-years-old.
Britney, who taught us that you can have your life completely together by 23 only to have it fall completely and utterly apart by 25 and then have your life completely together again by 34.
Oh Britney, how we thank thee.
The woman that had such a melt down that it is still talked about in 2016. Not in a bad way but a good way because in my opinion, it really is something to learn from. If Britney can recover from that and still be making music and selling platinum albums then you and I can get through this bad day. One of our bad days is a good one compare to Britney's meltdown days. If you ever need a little inspiration just Google "Britney Spears."
We all have a little Britney inside of us and we can't deny it.
Don't "Hold It Against Me,"
