What better way to distract ourselves from the world around us than to waste time on our phones? Although our priorities may not always be in check, sometimes it's a good idea to take a break from what's going on in the "real world" and zone out on our phones. As if we all aren't glued to our smart phones enough, I've discovered 5 apps that if you haven't downloaded yet, you should right now!

Sing! Karaoke

Even if you're a horrible singer like I am, this app can entertain you for hours. Not only does it allow you to sing karaoke to your favorite songs, it allows you to sing with people from all over the country and then add effects to your voice to actually make it sound decent. They just added songs from Pitch Perfect, how could you not want to check it out now?

The Hunt

Are you a fashionista always scoping the Internet for the latest trends? The Hunt helps you find where to find all different types of clothing and accessories. Looking for a cute top you saw someone wearing on instagram but don't know where to get it? Post that picture of the top on The Hunt and someone will help you find out exactly where to buy it! You can also check out the "top tags" on the homepage to view some of the top trends right now!

Do you have clothes sitting around that you've been dying to get rid of but feel guilty just throwing out? If you haven't heard of this app, you may or may not be living under a rock. Dubsmash allows you to record yourself lip syncing the words to many famous and funny quotes. Make a dubsmash and share it with your friends for a good laugh. This app could entertain you for hours.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons.
