Adele is back, baby.

Thoughts You Have When Watching Adele's "Hello" Music Video

Adele made a comeback after being essentially MIA for the past four years, and everyone is obsessed. The music video for her new song "Hello" came out about a week ago and it has left us all wanting more, and wondering who her stylist is and if we can hire them, because our favorite 25-year-old singer is back looking better than ever. If you haven't watched the music video, you are doing a disservice to yourself, and if you have, chances are some of these thoughts crossed your mind.

Okay a dusty windowsill, very dramatic.

Focusing in on a car, is she in the car?

Oh no, never mind.

Ugh, I love Adele’s accent.

“Can you hear me now?,” isn’t that from some cell phone commercial?

OH MY her outfit is KILLER.

I should get a jacket like that, it’s so chic and sophisticated.

Adele is so chic and sophisticated; I think she is my new idol.

I wonder if she sneezed when shooting this and they had to start over because that is a lot of dust.

Okay who did her makeup?

I want them to do my makeup, but I bet it would cost a million dollars.

Would I even look that good? Her bone structure is just amazing.

Oh God, her voice is soothing yet moving at the same time, how does she do that?

Goosebumps, I have goosebumps.

I wonder if there is an Instagram filter that looks like the one in the music video, it's so flattering.

How does she look so amazing in the wind, I get hit by one gust and look like I got hit by a tornado.

Okay walking away in the rain is a little dramatic; I would like to think Adele wouldn’t be with someone so dramatic.

Maybe that’s why they broke up, he was just too much.

A telephone booth, is this supposed to be in Europe?

Or maybe it’s just supposed to symbolize calling?

Oh, more walking away in the rain…

Why isn’t Adele ever in the rain?

Probably because it would ruin her makeup.

The song isn’t even over and I want to listen to it again.

I forgive you for disappearing for four years because this is so worth it.

She’s touching her face a lot, I wonder if she’s going to break out from that.

Why does her man have a flip phone? Is that symbolism?

Maybe it’s because you can slam it shut and cause more of a scene.

iPhones don’t really let you be dramatic, I never realized that.

I wonder how many attempts it took to get her eyeliner so perfect.

Wait, it's over?

That was abrupt.

I should probably just listen one more time.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
