1. Plan Accordingly
Make sure you know when they happening so that you know if you have a couple in a few days. The work won't accumulate, and you will be less stressed.
2. Give yourself a couple of days for each subject
Some classes may take more days to study for than others; make sure you know by this point how much time you have to dedicate to each exam.
3. Keep on task when studying
Some people wander, others look at their phones; whatever the case is, try to make a solid effort to focus for certain intervals of time and stay on task, so you can get in and get out of the library without spending massive amounts of time.
4. Set goals to motivate you
Some subjects are easier to study for than others, but for the ones that feel like they take forever to get through, set motivational goals. For example, reward yourself with a coffee break after getting through x amount of chapters.
5. Make studying a priority
Unless you are one of those people who can whip out an A in accounting with only a couple of hours of studying, make sure you give those subjects the importance they deserve. Perhaps sociology only demands a total of three hours, but I bet that A in finance won't come with just looking over your notes.
6. Don't stay up too late if your brain can't function after a certain hour
Some people can pull all-nighters out like it's their job, but others need multiple days to study, and need to do so in a calm manner, not cranking out six chapter in five hours.
7. Turn Netflix off
Oh heck yes. I mean it. People think that if you just watch one episode, it's okay, but once your brain relaxes, it becomes very difficult to get back into study mode. Do yourself a favor and don't even start.
8. Make sure to keep healthy
Many people get sick during exams due to lack of sleep and proper nutrition. That´s why it is important to eat well and get a good amount of sleep during exams. Emergen-C, and other forms of Vitamin C boosters, become very handy during this time of year as well.
