Study Break: Animals Being Cute

Two words. Finals week. Are you freaking out? Have you even started studying? It doesn't mater. Finals can wait; at least for a couple minutes. These cute animals need your attention.

1. Pig eating ice cream

If only I could look that good while eating ice cream.

2. Hipster hedgehog

All I want for Christmas is this hedgehog.

3. Starry-eyed owl

Meet Zeus, a Western Screech Owl with swirling galaxies in his eyes. He was found injured in Southern California and couldn't be released back into the wild because he is blind.

4. Elephant making friends

This is just adorable.

5. Cat nap

I envy cats. They get to sleep all the time. Me, I haven't slept in months.

6. Shy turtle

Don't worry little turtle, I will take care of you.

7. Dachshunds taking a bath

They are so excited to take a bath!

8. Smiling Stingrays

I still haven't forgiven stingrays for what they did to Steve Irwin, but they have the best facial expressions.

9. Baby giraffe

This giraffe looks like he knows your biggest secret. I don't care, I love him.

10. Bunny with eyeliner

I am forever in love with dwarf hotot rabbits. Talk about eyeliner on point.

11. Mother dolphin and her baby

I'm pretty sure there is no such thing as a bad picture of a dolphin.

12. Panda and his ball

He really loves his ball.

Okay. I suppose you have spent more than enough time on your study break. Get back to studying. I hope you do well and pass all of your finals. Good luck!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
