Must Do's On Your First Visit To Las Vegas

If you have never been to Vegas—GO! I was never really into the whole Vegas scene until I went. You don't have to be a raging alcoholic or big gambler to have fun in the "Sin City." Plan a trip with your girlfriends and remember to hit some of my favorite spots on your visit:

Purple Zebra
This is a go-to if you are looking for a Slurpee bar on the strip. I was completely overwhelmed by the wall of Slurpee flavors (non-alcoholic and alcoholic) and how many options there were to choose from! You can mix flavors until your heart is content.

Cirque du Soleil
Each hotel has a version of Cirque du Soleil, and I wish I could have seen them all. I saw "Mystére" at Treasure Island, and it was incredible. The shows only last a couple hours so you still have plenty of time for shenanigans after.

High Roller
The High Roller is a Ferris wheel or observation wheel that overlooks the strip when you reach the top. I recommend taking a ride at night because everything it lit up and looks absolutely beautiful.

La Creperie
It may be a struggle to wake up in the morning, but make the time to wake up a half hour early and eat crepes in Paris. I was dragged out of bed multiple times to eat crepes, and never once did I regret it.

Coyote Ugly Saloon
After watching the movie I had no idea what to expect when I walked into Coyote Ugly Saloon in New York New York. Definitely go if you want to dance the night away. And yes, it is like the movie!

Bellagio Fountains
I probably watched the fountains a hundred times. They are mesmerizing to say the least. The Bellagio puts on a great water show with music every hour on the dot. Be there.

Gondola Ride
Take a gondola ride outside or inside The Venetian. It was one of the first things I did when I got to Vegas and only something you do once. Bring your drinks and take pictures with your gondolier!

Casa Di Amore
The best Italian food you will ever eat. It is located off the strip, but a limo will pick you and your party up free of charge and bring you to the restaurant for dinner. The pasta dishes feed about forty people, so go hungry and share!

Thunder From Down Under
Ladies, this one is for you. It is the hottest show in Vegas. I will admit I caught myself blushing a couple times! I went to the show with my mom who enjoyed it even more than I did. They are very good looking men, and that is all I will say about that.

There is so much to do on The Strip and so little time to fit it all in. Pick an activity or place in each hotel that you want to do and keep on moving. Las Vegas has so much to offer, don't miss out!

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
