With the 20-year anniversary of the first episode of Friends recently passed, a Friends themed article is a necessity. We all know and love the distinctive characteristics of Monica, Rachel, Ross, Chandler, Joey and Phoebe: Monica with her competitive attitude, Joey with his suave style with women, Chandler's constant jokes and sarcasm, etc. With such defining qualities, it is interesting to consider how each character would fit in at a fraternity/sorority. Here are some of my predictions:

1. Monica Geller: The bitter secretary that could not get elected as president. Monica, with her competitive attitude, hunger for power and obsessive attention to detail would undoubtedly attempt to become president at her respective sorority. With that being said, all of her sisters would realize the potential horrors of having Monica in charge, and give her the position of secretary as consolation. With such a competitive drive, Monica would be that sister in the house that tries oh-so very hard at everything.

2.Ross Geller: The awkward academic chair. Ross, with his Ph.D. and love for correcting people, would be your chapter's designated "nerd." He would definitely be the member to always be on top of everyone's academics, making academic chair the perfect position for Ross. However, he lacks some basic flirting skills and probably would not be the best brother to send for relations with sororities.

3.Rachel Green: The apparel chair. With her career in fashion, Rachel would fit perfectly for your chapter as the apparel chair. Furthermore, she would probably be the one to have the least amount of troubles fitting in and thriving in Greek life. Rachel would be the sister you are not surprised to see in your organization.

4. Joey Tribbiani: The legendary social chair. The complete opposite of Ross Geller. This guy will be talked about for ages as the greatest social chair in the history of your chapter. Joey would be the greatest brother to have in your chapter from a social viewpoint; now if he could only keep his grades up...

5. Phoebe Buffay: The one who has a little too much fun. Phoebe would be the carefree spirit in your house that turns up any time there is the chance. It would be a mystery as to how she stays above the minimum GPA requirement with how much fun she has, but somehow she pulls it off. Phoebe would be the most fun member to party with at any event.

6. Chandler Bing: The one who is just there. Chandler would be the brother who does not have a specific duty or position in the house. He isn't known as a huge partier, but also isn't completely devoted to academics. Chandler would be the guy who everyone sometimes forgets is a brother.
