15 Things You Must Do In Atlanta This Summer

"I'm so bored. There's nothing to do."

"What is there to do today?"

"There's so much traffic right now. What's going on this weekend?"

If you often find yourself asking these questions, then it's your lucky day because I have the answers for you.

1. Try three eccentric flavors of King of Pops popsicles in one sitting.

2. Jam out at an upcoming music festival.

3. Cruise into Starlite Drive-In theater to watch two movies for the price of one – only $9!

4. Leap through the fountains of Centennial Park.

5. Meditate through yoga in the park. (Sponsored by King of Pops, knock two of these off your list in one night!)

6. Revisit the Coke Factory, because who doesn't love trying 60+ flavors of Coke?

7. Eat your heart out at one of Atlanta's many food festivals.

8. Tomahawk Chop at the Braves game.

9. Go to Oakland Cemetery and munch at the restaurant 6 Feet Under right across the street.

10. Sip on different types of beer at a beer festival. There are bound to be several going on this summer.

11. Grab a quick bite at Atlanta's Food Trucks.

12. Scope out cool findings at an art festival in the Old Fourth Ward or attend a film festival.

13. Wander around Little Five Points or just plan dinner there.

14. Catch a free outdoor movie at Atlantic Station.

15. Plan a picnic or just lounge around Piedmont Park.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
